Welcome to the Homepage for Star Hose Company, Inc.
Star Hose Company is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the IRS. Our EIN is 35-2687851. We are the fundraising entity for the Swanton Village Fire Department in Swanton, VT.
Our mission is to raise funds that are used to purchase and/or maintain equipment and training needed by the fire department. We further support the fire department by purchasing food, drinks, or other items needed by the department during large-scale events or trainings. Annually, Star Hose Company also sponsors morale events as our way of saying thank you to the brave men and women of our department.

Star Hose Company is pleased to announce recent achievements such as:
In partnership with TDI Towing & Recovery, purchased an Argo UTV (Pictured above on this page) for use during rescue and wildland firefighting operations.
Purchased a command vehicle for use by the fire department.
Contributed to morale items for deployed troops.
Due to the large purchases of the Argo and command vehicle, 2026 will likely be a year where we shift our focus to fundraising and grant writing. This will allow us to provide the fire department with new equipment or resources via grants, while restoring our funds to prepare for future purchases.
